Cull is aware that it is not quite such a simple thing of cause and consequence but we wish the Western leaders would not shirk from taking their tinted spectacles off, to see clearly the facts on the ground they are perpetuating. We are sorry we couldn’t convey the horrible tears of the transport attacks – we had workaday tasks that, due to our luck of getting in on time, we had to complete (medals have been issued, etc). You could tell this was a grave affair as at one stage David Gray was assaulting my ears from two radio stations at the same time. Sky News also ran personalised messages on their ticker.
